Amount of Fines - $168.75
This includes the following charges:
Careless operation
Failure to yield
Disregarding traffic control signs
Failure to stop at stop sign
Failure to use turn signal
SPEEDING:
Speeding 1-10 miles over the limit - $45.00 Plus $140.75 Court Cost
Speeding 11-20 miles over the limit - $55.00 Plus $140.75 Court Cost
Speeding 21-30 miles over the limit - $65.00 Plus $140.75 Court Cost
Speeding 31 or more miles over limit - $75.00 Plus $140.75 Court Cost
SPEEDING in a CONSTRUCTION ZONE or SCHOOL ZONE:
When speeding in these zones, speeding fines are doubled, plus 138.75 for court cost. Please see speeding fines above for speeding costs.
Texting While Driving:
The fine for a first offense of texting while driving - $250.00
Non – Moving Violations
Amount of Fines -$163.75
This includes the following charges:
No motor vehicle inspection sticker
Expired motor vehicle inspection sticker
Taillight or headlight out
Expired driver’s license
No driver’s license on person
No insurance
OTHER NON-MOVING VIOLATION FINES
Littering -- $175.00
Failure to wear seat belt (Child) -- $100.00
Failure to wear seat belt (Adult) -- $50.00
Secondary Offense for Failure to wear seat belt (Child) -- $250.00
IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHARGE (as outlined above), add these amounts to the amount you've calculated above:
